Is HostBy free for clients?
Yes. Searching, comparing profiles and sending enquiries is free for clients in the MVP. HostBy does not charge clients or take a cut of anchor fees at this stage.
How does anchor verification work?
Anchors submit identity and professional details for admin review. Verification status is shown as-is on each profile — HostBy never inflates or implies a status that hasn't been confirmed.
Will my exact location or address be shared?
No. Search uses approximate location or a manually chosen city, never a live position. Exact event venue details are shared only with a confirmed anchor at the appropriate booking stage.
What does the ₹599/month membership include?
It's the founding anchor plan: a searchable, publishable profile, structured enquiries and optional emergency-replacement opt-in. Pricing and plans are configuration and may evolve with notice.
How does last-minute replacement work?
If an anchor drops out close to an event, a client can raise an urgent request. Opted-in, eligible anchors nearby are notified in a wave, and the first qualified acceptance is confirmed — the whole process is logged for accountability.
Can I pay an anchor through HostBy?
Not in the MVP. HostBy is a lead-generation marketplace — it helps you find and coordinate with anchors; payment for the event itself is arranged directly between you and the anchor.
